PPE, the stuff that's been in short supply at hospitals. People have been wearing it for a long time. It's more effective now than the outfits worn by the plague doctors of sixteenth-century Europe.
This client started making gowns recently, and so needed photos to sell them. The models were medical and nursing students, so they knew the drill. The agency produced the shoot and did a fantastic job.
Not a portrait of the environment, nor the "Environment" as in climate change. Instead, a portrait of someone in their environment. Perhaps including things in the background that tell you a little something about the subject. Maybe this person works in a trendy office, lab, factory, or plays the guitar. Let me know what you think.
I had a project earlier this year highlighting diversity at Toyota near Ann Arbor. It was an exciting project, and the subjects were all extraordinary women. Men have long dominated engineering. Diversity in both gender and ethnicity bring new perspectives and creativity to solve the problems encountered building cars.
We had a small crew and excellent art direction. As always, I am interested in your thoughts.
I really enjoy shooting in the studio. On this day, we had a great team. The client, models, stylist and I were all working well together. Fortunately the studio is large enough the there was no problem pulling in a large truck. Then it was a matter of staging the scenarios that told the client’s story. Working together we made photographs that pleased the client. As always your thoughts and comments are welcome.
